On June 9th, UDWR and partners are hosting a bluegill fishing tournament at Steinaker Reservoir. The tournament is intended to encourage public support and involvement in the Division’s salvage effort of bluegill. The tournament will be family friendly, and focused on providing an environment conducive to all levels of fishing skills. The BOR dam repair project at Steinaker Reservoir will take place this fall 2018, so salvage of fish is necessary before the reservoir reaches dead pool.
