Marathon Half Marathon 5k Races Marina Mile
Marathon Course The full marathon course provides a rare, scenic diverse tour around Humboldt Bay, and is considered to have some gently rolling hills over a generally level course. The marathon will start at 7 AM, and runners will have a maximum of 6 hours 30 minutes to complete the course. Half Marathon Course The half marathon will start near the famous Arcata Plaza and merge with the marathon course as the course leaves Arcata into open dairy farms before heading down the west side of Humboldt Bay and into Eureka with spectacular views of Humboldt Bay and the Eureka Waterfront and Marina. The half marathon is a point-to-point race and runners are encouraged to park near the finish area. A free shuttle bus will take half marathon entrants to the start area. The half marathon starts at 9 AM, and participants will have 4 hours and 30 minutes to complete the course. Walkers are welcome! Marina Mile Course The course for the Marina Mile will be on the Eureka Waterfront. The one mile race will be run in several heats with competitive divisions for men, women and "masters" (over 40). There will also be a fun run for everyone after the competitive heats.
